Church House Inn
Churchstow
Steeped in history, the Church House Inn, Churchstow, is a 13th Century pub, built as a rest house for Benedictine Monks from Buckfast Abbey it has been a hostelry of one kind or another all of its life.
Bursting with un-spoilt original charm and character, so rare to find, inglenook fireplace, log burners & beams a plenty, with legends of smuggling monks and tunnels down in the well in the main entrance, leading to the Church and beyond.

Covid 19 update
In light of the Government's announcement on Tuesday 21 December that the new strain of the virus is spreading fast across the country, we have taken the decision as a hospitality business to close with immediate effect before the Government closes us all down inevitably.
This has been a very hard decision as business has been so very very difficult financially this year, however, the welfare of our staff & their families & the community as a whole is more important.
We trust you understand & we look forward to brighter times in 2021.
Wishing you all a Happy & Healthy Christmas & New Year.
