The Church House Inn, Churchstow, is a 13th Century pub, bursting with un-spoilt original charm and character, so rare to find, inglenook fireplace, log burners & beams a plenty, with legends of smuggling monks and tunnels down in the well in the main entrance, leading to the Church and beyond.

Built as a rest house for Benedictine Monks from Buckfast Abbey it has been a hostelry of one kind or another all of its life.

We are passionate about using the most seasonal and local of produce from

the rich abundance of land and sea that surrounds us to bring you enticing dishes to savour.

And constantly looking to reduce our carbon footprint.

With 4 newly converted en-suite bedrooms to offer

and several dining spaces we have something for all life's celebrations
